On Wings of a Butterfly” was inspired by God, a work not everyone could have done. It
describes a life about a young woman who struggled to have an identity of her own. To have a life totally opposite from the one her mother kept pushing upon her. Yet no one told her about generational curses, no one told her about demonic spirits, no one even told her about strongholds and bondage. These things she had to find out on her own, just like she had to find out about life on her own. However, she had one person on her side, she had God, she had the Holy Spirit. Because little did she know, God had his hand on her from the time she was conceived. God had a plan already mapped out for her, a road already paved, a road that she had to walk all by herself. Yes, it would be a lonely road, a road with hurt, pain, and frustration it would even get a little jagged at times.
Nonetheless, this road had to be traveled and there were certain things she had to learn as she walked, as she ran, even when she fell. This autobiography is astounding, it will make you laugh, and it will make you cry. It will make you want to shout for joy, and other times it will make you wonder how anyone could have gone through such hardship and pain and not lost their mind. However, more than that it will make you realize that God is in control of all things, even when we do not realize it, He carries us in our most difficult times. All we have to do is trust him and know He will not forsake us or leave us no matter how devastating it might be!
Sheila Lattisaw was called into the ministry in 1996 by God, then Ordained in February of 1998 by Roland Kenner, Jr. Pastor of the International Church of Christ. It was there that she continued to be a servant, a minister, counselor and author. Faithfully she did this for thirteen years where she is well loved and respected until God decided it was time for her to go and preach to all the world. She still remains a faithful member and servant of International Church of Christ visiting home often to pay respect to her Pastor and to receive an in-filling, to be able to do a work in the kingdom.
